Deborah Richardson
Deborah Richardson brings to Triad over 16 years of experience in the media. Deborah started her broadcasting career as a traffic reporter for Metro Networks in Tampa, Florida. She was part of the Fox 13 morning show “Good Day Tampa Bay,” as well as part of the morning team on Oldies 106. Deborah also spent time behind the news assignments desk and as a DJ. As the Assistant Director of Operations in the Tampa Metro News Bureau, Deborah was the recipient of an AIR Award for spot news coverage.
Deborah moved on to covering national news for Westwood Ones Metro Source. She spent her time covering events such as presidential visits, political situations, and wars around the world. On a lighter note, she had the distinct honor of interviewing legendary American icons such as Peanuts creator Charles Schultz, Family Circus creator Bill Keane, Mr. McFeely — the “Speedy delivery” messenger man from “Mister Rogers Neighborhood” — and Fitness Guru Richard Simmons, just to name a few.
Richardson has spent the past few years doing freelance public relations. Her vast knowledge of news and the media contribute to Triads role in the marketing industry.
Deborah graduated with a degree in Marketing from St. Leo College in Florida.
