Agency/Client Organization Optimization

The relationship between a client and its agency is one fraught with potential difficulties. Recent surveys have shown that a majority of clients are not completely happy with the existing relationship between them and their agencies. Pressures and expectations on both sides don’t make it any easier. So how do you avoid complete breakdown and having to deal with a new agency search that is both time-consuming, expensive, and disruptive?

One way we have helped is what we call an agency/client organization optimization project. We send our people in to survey both client and agency personnel to identify problems and conflicts, make recommendations, and help with implementation. Often you can salvage a fragile relationship, maximize the good, and eliminate the bad. Just remember — a new agency can take up to a year to get up to speed on your company, its protocols, and its goals.
